Engaging Minds Through Art

Community Programming

The Arthur Ross Gallery’s Engaging Minds Through Art program offers 4th-6th grade students in the Philadelphia School District the opportunity for a hands-on art experience at the gallery.

This free 2-hour program includes an interactive tour of the current exhibitions, activities to contextualize the artworks on view, and a hands-on art-making project related to the exhibition These projects have included handmade books, screen printing, etching, watercolor painting, and much more.

In an effort to keep art education accessible to all Philadelphia schools, the Arthur Ross Gallery provides free bus transportation to and from the gallery.
