Writing Workshop with Levi Bentley

This writing workshop will encourage attendees to engage directly with the art works in God Complex: Different Philadelphia, and the program will be held onsite in the Arthur Ross Gallery.

Levi Bentley is a 2019 LAMBDA Literary Fellow, and 2017 Leeway Art and Change grantee. They live in Philadelphia where they design and co-edit Asterion press with Ted Rees. They have released chapbooks through Lamehouse, Damask, and Well Greased Press. Poems have appeared in Apiary, Bedfellows, BlazeVOX, Emerge: 2019 Lambda Anthology, We Want It All: An Anthology of Radical Trans Poetics from Nightboat Books, and a number of other venues.

Please bring a notebook and or a laptop. Pencils only if using a notebook.

All guests will be required to wear masks indoors and to practice social distancing.

When you arrive at the workshop, please check-in at the registration table. For those of you who registered in advance, we will either ask you to share your Green PennOpen Pass or, if you are not a member of the Penn Community, ask you a series of Covid safety questions. For anyone who did not register in advance, we will collect their contact information and ask them to attest to being fully vaccinated.

Anyone who cannot attest to being fully vaccinated will not be allowed to attend. Additionally, anyone who has a Red PennOpen Pass or who does not pass the COVID safety check questions will not be able to attend.
