Join Perry World House and the Arthur Ross Gallery for the world film premiere of the short documentary film Postigo Express about Basque photographer Fernando Postigo.
Through a drawn out and often violent campaign, Basque separatists fought for the right to self-determination in northern Spain from the 1970s through the 2000s. Basque photographer Fernando Postigo fearlessly documented the conflict in San Sebastian, daily putting himself on the front lines. Postigo’s work reveals the the human dimension of a region wrestling with questions of identity, resistance, and reconciliation.
