This soundscape was inspired by space. I have always been intrigued by the idea of outer space and being lost in such emptiness. The story behind this soundscape is as follows:

"You were been assigned a mission in Space: to find life. After being sent alone on a newly designed space-craft, built to carry only one person and to travel for a longer mission period than the average, having completed 90% of the mission, things begin to go wrong. Being the only crew member on the ship, when anything goes wrong, it is your duty to fix it, but when too many things go wrong at the same time and oxygen levels begin to lower, you are left with no choice but to escape the ship on the emergency escape vehicle. You were so close to going home, after years of being alone on the ship. Now, you reconsider what being alone truly means. On the ship, you had access to radio, tv, light. Here, you have nothing. You try to use the radio to communicate with Earth, but having never been tested, as it was expected the ship would be intact and suffer nothing, you are on your own. Through the small window above your seat, you see beautiful cloud-shaped objects. They get closer by the second, and you realize it is space debris. You try and find a way to move the escape-vehicle and realize you have no fuel, and no way to move. You close your eyes as the debris approaches you. It's all you can do."
